A Little Bit About Me…

“Coming from a lifestyle with absolutely no exercise or nutritional structure or discipline whatsoever, I didn’t know a dumbbell from a treadmill! Because I wasn’t 20 stone and
struggling to do simple everyday tasks, nobody batted an eyelid. (still a major problem in society today!) But behind closed doors, I wasn’t happy. Years of being the smallest guy in the class, the weakest guy in the room, played on my mind and slowly beginning to torment me. Enough was enough. It was time to do something about my situation. Although I had my qualifications etc I wasn’t sure where to start or who to approach. I turned to the ever reliable Google search engine and found a suitable program to follow. I joined a gym and began to exercise. The rest really is history. Fast forward to the present, and to a much happier, healthier, fitter and stronger me (both physically and mentally) I took charge of my life, and it was single-handedly the very best decision I ever made. You can do the same! You WILL NOT regret it, I guarantee you that!”
What do you love most about being a Personal Trainer?
“Witnessing a client reaching their goal, be it weight loss, body fat loss, improving muscle mass and strength, movement and flexibility, incorporating a more active lifestyle… Regardless of a person’s specific goal, there is no better place to be, than to be present in the assessment room for that final assessment knowing you have helped somebody improve, better themselves and reach their goals.”
Your favourite quote/motto?
“What doesn’t challenge you, doesn’t change you”
What sets you apart from other personal trainers?
“It has to be my personal approach. I am, and always have been a “people person”. I love to get to know my clients and get an insight into their personality and their lives. In my opinion, very little “personal training” these days is actually personal. I believe that an initial assessment when I meet a client for the very first time is the most important appointment of them all. We both get the opportunity to a put a face to a name, learn a little bit about one another, and discuss goals, etc. We begin to build friendship and trust. That’s personal. Our clients arrive as strangers, but leave as friends.”
